Headwaters is Now Open in Dripping Springs

Despite a little bit of rain, the Grand Opening event at Headwaters drew hundreds of attendees to take in breathtaking views and natural beauty just southwest of Austin in Dripping Springs. Guests were treated to a showcase of local musicians, including bluegrass from Steel Beety and the Hill Country Ramblers, plus acoustic tunes from singer-songwriter Brent Michael Wood. Delicious food and drinks were provided by Austin Gelato Company, Trudy’s Tex-Mex and Downtown Austin favorite, Roppolo’s Pizza. But the highlight of the afternoon was the new-model home tours from featured builders Drees Custom Homes, David Weekley Homes and Trendmaker Homes. If you missed out, no need to worry – model homes are available for tours seven days a week! Click our link here for specific hours for each builder.

Connecting with nature and incorporating health and wellness into daily life are important components of the lifestyle at Headwaters. This concept is evident in the community plan, which offers an expansive trails and parks system, the HW Fit fitness center and resort-style pool, all in a gorgeous Hill Country setting. At HW Central, the community’s activity center, an onsite lifestyle director will plan gatherings such as movies at the pool, book clubs and more! Included in that lifestyle plan is room to grow for the children of Headwaters, who will attend school within the acclaimed Dripping Springs ISD.

Homes at Headwaters offer an impressive blend of rustic materials and craftsmanship adapted for contemporary living. Every home is adjacent to open spaces, yet the community is an easy commute to Austin for work or play. Drees Custom Homes range from 2,800 to 4,200 square feet and start in the high $400s. Starting in the mid-300s, David Weekley Homes are 1,800 to 4,200 square feet. Trendmaker Homes are 2,400 to 3,200 square feet and begin in the low $400s.

The sales representatives were busy at the Grand Opening, giving tours and exclusive information regarding their model homes and future homes at the Headwaters community. While the adults were busy interacting with the homebuilders and getting something to snack on from the acclaimed food trucks, the kids enjoyed seeing the fire truck from Dripping Springs Fire Department and taking on the obstacle course.
