Get to Know Headwaters’ Parks

Did you know that Headwaters has 1,000 acres of preserved greenspace? Residents have the luxury of all that space, which includes winding nature trails, plenty of native greenery and some pretty amazing parks. Dripping Springs is a stunning area all on its own, but the parks at Headwaters take it a step further.

Central Bark

Central Bark is Headwaters’ newest park! Recently opened, this park is one for our four-legged residents. This fenced-in area is off-leash heaven, where dogs can run, jump and play to their hearts’ content. It’s the perfect place to bring your pup and let them wear themselves out, or even use it as a training opportunity to practice obedience with distractions. And of course, it wouldn’t be a Headwaters park it if wasn’t surrounded by Hill Country views!

Homestead Park

This is one of the most-loved parts of Headwaters. Homestead Park features an event lawn where our Lifestyle Director puts on events and activities, but there’s also a picnic area and croquet lawn for enjoying a sunny afternoon. The historic ranch house site is fun for kids to explore and imagine how life used to be, while the stargazing amphitheater is perfect for enjoying the big, star-filled skies Texas is known for.

Headwaters Park

There’s still more to come in the future! Once complete, Headwaters Park will be located in the northern portion of the community. It will provide even more space to explore the outdoors and enjoy nature, all without ever leaving Headwaters.
